艺术化细节与光影氛围的营造：设计从修复的花卉艺术作品中汲取色彩与装饰灵感，将艺术融入材质与细节处理中，使空间更具精致感和叙事性。同时，通过几何元素的对比（正交与对角线）回应建筑形态，中央圆桌的设计促进了社交动力。更重要的是，多层次的照明系统（聚光灯、壁灯、杜邦纸吊灯）的精心配置，成功地塑造了多变、宜人的环境氛围，适应了从早到晚的不同使用场景。

Bistro Ferdinand is situated in the iconic Sad Janka Kráľa park in Bratislava, the design of which resulted from an open tender for a new tenant. The project revitalizes the original pavilion, designed by architect Ferdinand Konček in 1982, which was renovated in 2024 by Jan Studený and Peter Stec. The interior of the bistro aims to create an environment that echoes the park's atmosphere and fosters a sense of community belonging. As the park's flagship bistro, Bistro Ferdinand is open, inclusive, and welcoming.

The design draws inspiration from a floral artwork restored by Ľuba Končeková-Veselá, which influenced the color scheme and decorative details of the bistro. The space is divided into two main areas: a fixed dining section with an open layout allowing customers to observe the preparation of food and drinks; and a flexible operational zone equipped with movable furniture that can be adjusted for different events.

The design emphasizes geometric contrast, combining an orthogonal grid with diagonal elements to echo the pavilion's inclined architectural style. Central round tables encourage social interaction, while diverse lighting options—including spotlights, wall lamps, and Tyvek solitaires pendant lights—create a variable atmosphere adaptable to different times of the day and various activities.
