对挑战性环境的深刻适应性设计:Nuoc Ui学校的设计精髓在于其对越南中部偏远山区复杂自然条件的深刻理解和精准回应。面对该地区频繁的风暴和大雨,建筑采用了坚固且适应坡地的结构,特别是通过深檐设计来保护至关重要的夯土墙免受雨水侵蚀,这体现了高水平的工程智慧和对材料耐久性的前瞻性考量。此外,充分利用自然采光和通风,创造舒适的微气候,有效地将对机械系统的依赖降至最低,完美诠释了可持续性在资源受限环境下的实际应用。

地方材料与文化场所精神的融合:本项目最引人注目的亮点之一是其对当地天然材料——夯土和竹子——的大胆且负责任的应用。这种选择不仅从根本上降低了运输成本和环境足迹,更重要的是,它在物质层面将建筑锚定于其所在环境,促进了学校与当地景观及文化之间的深层精神联系。简洁而有力的设计语言,结合庭院布局,使得建筑本身成为了社区环境的有机组成部分,而非外来干预。

以人为本的空间序列与社区功能强化:建筑的功能布局围绕创造一个连续且支持多样的学习生活体验展开。教室环绕内部庭院布局,并与半室外的游乐场无缝连接,形成了一个灵活的空间序列,支持从正式学习到非正式游戏、小组活动的各种需求。缓冲区域(如走廊和檐下空间)作为被动气候调节器和多功能半户外空间,极大地增强了建筑的实用性和社区凝聚力,最终使学校超越了教育机构的范畴,升华为一个扎根当地的社区核心。

Located in Tra My Commune, Nam Tra My District, Quang Nam Province, in Central Vietnam—a remote mountainous region—Nuoc Ui School serves minority communities scattered across difficult terrain and harsh climatic conditions, which are hit by storms and heavy rains almost every year. The project was mainly funded by the Midas Foundation, with doors and windows sponsored by Tostem, and designed by Vo Trong Nghia Architects. Its goal is to provide a sustainable, friendly, and locally adapted learning environment.
位于越南中部的广南省南兆美县茶梅乡——一个偏远的山区地区——Nuoc Ui学校为散布在艰难地形和恶劣气候条件下的少数民族社区服务,该地区几乎每年都会遭遇风暴和大雨。该项目主要由Midas基金会资助,门窗由Tostem赞助,设计由沃仲义建筑事务所完成。其目标是提供一个可持续、友好和适应当地的学习环境。

To fully preserve the existing green landscape and coexist harmoniously with nature, the arrangement of classrooms and buildings is designed to maximize daylight penetration, allowing windows to face the surrounding lush mountains. The orientation of the central courtyard aims to capture the panoramic view of the valley.
为了充分保护现有的绿色景观并与自然和谐共处,教室和建筑的布局都充分考虑了采光,使窗户能够面向周围郁郁葱葱的山峦。中央庭院的朝向则旨在将山谷全景尽收眼底。

The school makes full use of local natural materials, primarily constructed with rammed earth walls and bamboo roofs. The use of earth and bamboo not only reduces transportation costs and environmental impact but also fosters a physical and spiritual connection between the school and the local environment. The architectural design is simple yet robust, adapting to the sloping terrain and capable of resisting the region's heavy rainfall.
这所学校充分利用当地天然材料,主要采用夯土墙和竹屋顶建造。使用泥土和竹子不仅降低了运输成本和环境影响,还促进了学校与当地环境的物质和精神联系。建筑设计简洁而坚固,适应坡地地形,并能抵御当地的强降雨。

The classrooms are built around an internal courtyard and connected to the front yard via an indoor playground, forming a continuous spatial sequence that supports learning, play, and group activities. Deep eaves surround the classrooms, effectively protecting the earth walls from rain erosion—a key design for enhancing the building's durability. The semi-indoor playground located between two classrooms ensures that students have a sheltered place to play even during the rainy season.
教室围绕着一个内部庭院而建,并通过室内游乐场与前院相连,形成一个连续的空间序列,为学习、游戏和小组活动提供支持。教室四周环绕着深檐,有效地保护了泥墙免受雨水侵蚀——这是提升建筑耐久性的关键设计。位于两间教室之间的半室内游乐场,确保学生即使在雨季也能拥有一个遮​​风避雨的游戏场所。

First Floor Plan

Symmetrical large windows on both sides of each classroom maximize natural light and air circulation. This layout achieves effective ventilation, creating a comfortable and airy learning environment, highly suitable for the humid tropical climate. Given the relatively low ambient temperatures in the area, these basic ventilation measures are sufficient to create a suitable microclimate within the classrooms, thus minimizing the need for mechanical systems and energy.
每间教室两侧对称的大窗户最大限度地引入自然光和空气流通。这种布局实现了有效的通风,营造出舒适通风的学习环境,非常适合湿润的热带气候。鉴于该地区气温相对较低,这些基本的通风措施足以在教室中创造适宜的微气候,从而最大限度地减少对机械系统和能源的需求。

Buffer zones such as eaves and outdoor corridors not only protect the earth walls from rain erosion but also allow for passive climate regulation and serve as semi-outdoor spaces for various informal activities, ranging from play to small gatherings. Modest in scale, structurally simple, utilizing local materials, and focusing on durability and sustainability, this school presents a vernacular and effective architectural solution. It harmonizes with its surroundings, is deeply rooted locally, and gradually evolves into a meaningful community center.
屋檐和室外走廊等缓冲区域不仅保护土墙免受雨水侵蚀,还能实现被动式气候调节,并作为半户外空间,用于开展从游戏到小型聚会等各种非正式活动。这所学校规模适中、结构简洁、采用当地材料,并注重耐久性和可持续性,呈现出一种朴实而有效的建筑方案。它与周围环境相协调,深深扎根于当地,并逐渐成为一个意义非凡的社区中心。
