With over 15,000 seats, the overall plan is to create a game-day plaza that connects all campus athletic facilities and serves as a gathering space for fans, the public, and athletes. Driven by interactivity, the design integrates indoor and outdoor spaces to create a cohesive and forward-looking experience. The design respects the campus character while introducing modern systems and detailed approaches, distinguishing itself without overshadowing other campus athletic buildings. Its purpose is to create an engaging urban space that integrates athletic facilities with current and future campus development.

The venue is surrounded by windows, which showcase the excitement of games or performances while strengthening the connection between the venue, the campus, the Capitol building’s view corridor, and the city. The Dell Technologies Plaza connects to all athletic facilities on campus, where fans, the public, and athletes can gather. This plaza can also be used for pre-game or pre-show events and can accommodate food trucks.
