Parsley Bay Garden, designed by Pepo Botanic Design from Sydney, Austraila, combines art, landscape and built form to achieve a simple goal – a place in which to “live well” in the urban environment of Sydney. The garden celebrates the clients love and commitment to the harbor location, their rural background as well as to the Arts. The feature of the garden is the bespoke sculptural elements giving the garden spaces a personal and unique character.
In the front garden a ribbon of iron meanders and twists through this elegant garden, effortlessly linking each of the elements with strength and movement.
The intelligently crafted and fluid sculpture, created by renowned artist Francesco Petrolo, ensures that beauty and refinement are well preserved. Each of the plants and materials have been meticulously chosen to enhance the Architecture and the location of the property. The resulting environment seamlessly marries surrounding bushland, harbor inlet and elements from a traditional country garden.
The back garden spills with planting reflecting the subtropical microclimate and the undulating levels. The natural timber decking has a soft and complementry union to the mass of lush green foliage and togather they encourag local fauna to explore the spaces in a safe and protected enviroment.
Working closely with the client, Pepo lovingly devised contrasting outdoor spots that brim with personality and life, respectfully including special pockets for edible plants and a brood of chickens to lay their eggs.
